The Lord began our family’s 2014 with several ‘suddenly’ blessings that we are so humbly and truly thankful for, one of which is Josiah’s Make A Wish Trip to Dolphin Cove in Orlando, Florida! Dates for the trip are yet to be determined, as Josiah’s WBCs, doctor appointments, and labs will impact those specifics: possibly spring break or late May. Make A Wish is sending Dad, Mom, and Josiah on a 4 day/5 night all expense paid trip to Florida with a rental car for enjoying not only Dolphin Cove, but several other Orlando vacation sites. Other family members who live in our home with Josiah, having supported his difficult year of kidney failure/transplant, can also accompany us on the trip, if they are able to pay their own pay way (his siblings are all over 18). Therefore, Josiah’s brother, Jadan, is going with, and we are believing the Lord for the money to bring his sister, Jocilyn, along on the trip as well, since she has been significantly involved in Josiah’s kidney journey from the beginning, as well as it being her senior year. Sister Jessa will take care of our house and pets while we are gone. We look forward to posting updates regarding the upcoming trip, as well as praise reports for the final six months of Josiah’s year of high-risk post-transplant.

Monday a.m., Dad and Josiah ventured out in the extreme Minnesota cold for Josiah’s labs in Rogers, then Mom and Josiah traveled off in the opposite direction to St. Cloud to begin his respiratory therapy treatments.

Releasing the eternal abundant blessings of our Lord in this new year we have now entered, and much thanksgiving to each of you for standing with us in this journey of restoration and health for Josiah and for our family!
