The Children’s Heart Cry Curriculum

Are you equipping your children for the American Dream or for the Kingdom of our Father, on Earth as it is in Heaven? There is a huge difference. Don’t be content to do as it’s always been done. There is infinitely more we can do to equip this generation for the times in which we have been called.

For Parents and Teachers of All Ages

The Children’s Heart Cry contains foundational equipping tools and instructional materials for raising up sons and daughters of the Kingdom of Heaven on the Earth. It includes Hands On Activities and over a year’s worth of equipping for a lifetime.

As parents, your ceiling is your children’s floor. As teachers, you establish and nurture the foundations for a lifetime. The author’s passion and calling is to equip a generation in Christ-centered identity and Kingdom purpose, empowering sons and daughters to live out this life through agape love, freedom, and wholeness. This unique Kingdom ministry focuses on releasing and encountering the Presence of our Healer Himself, in conjunction with discipleship for equipping the generations to be secure in our Heavenly Father’s love, carrying a mantle as His ambassadors of that love for such a time as this.

What Is Your Intentional Parenting Vision?

Is your intentional parenting vision about raising your children to be good people, to have a good education, a good job, a family, happiness, i.e. the American dream? Is your parenting vision about raising your children to contribute to society, to be good church attendees, or to lead and carry on the political or religious views, or generational traditions you are teaching them? Or is your parenting vision less cultural, traditional, theological, or political, and much more radical? Say…a wholehearted desire to train them up in the ways of the Word, in the power of Jesus Christ, and to be led by Holy Spirit, to be our Heavenly Father’s sons and daughters advancing the Kingdom of Heaven on the Earth in every mountain of culture: government, education, business, media, arts & entertainment, family, and church?

I will be casting vision for parents who understand their children to be our Heavenly Father’s gifts to lovingly steward from the womb to leaving the nest, with a desire to raise them up as:

1) Spirit and Truth worshipers;
2) sons and daughters who are secure in their Christ-centered identity;
3) intimately knowledgeable of both the Word and the Spirit (recognize and follow Holy Spirit’s voice);
4) seeking first the Kingdom of Heaven and His righteousness;
5) nurtured, equipped and skilled in every natural and spiritual gifting from a young age to live life here on the Earth for the Lord’s glory;
6) passionate about preparing the way for the return, rule, and reign of King Jesus on the Earth;
7)  confident in and yielded to Holy Spirit leading, aligned with the Word, as our Heavenly Father’s vessels advancing His Kingdom on the Earth NOW, i.e. all the days of their lives.

I will soon be launching a video teaching series specific to parents whose desire is to steward their children for the Lord in ALL His good plans and purposes for each one. Everything I convey/cast vision about will be validated by Scripture. If one does not believe in the inerrancy of Scripture, Jehovah God as our loving Heavenly Father, eternal salvation and overcoming victory through Jesus Christ, nor the power of Holy Spirit, stop here. I am called to cast vision on behalf of those who desire to seek first the Kingdom of Heaven and His righteousness, resulting in lives lived radically for the King of kings and the Lord of lords on Earth as it is in Heaven; on behalf of the children in every nation in this generation.

I am truly excited and called as a spiritual mother, i.e. a spiritual mentor/worshiper/intercessor/psalmist/teacher, on behalf of this generation longing for His Presence in the power of His Word to be their entire lens/testimony for this life in all things. More information soon!

In the meantime, check out The Children’s Heart Cry on this website under Latest Products on the left sidebar to get a 2018 head start with this journey in a new season. The Children’s Heart Cry is also available on Amazon! I am also currently working on a holistic frequency infused spontaneous Holy Spirit led CD release for children. Parents/teachers will be encouraged to incorporate this CD into car time, study time, quiet time, creative time, bed time, etc.. More information soon!

All-In Discipleship

Zeal for the Lord should consume us (John 2:17): zeal for Jesus, zeal for our Heavenly Father, zeal for His Kingdom on the Earth as it is in Heaven, and zeal for more of Holy Spirit living in and loving through us. The King of kings and His Kingdom IS this life’s goal. He should be the desire of our hearts individually, and also His command to, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19 AMP). There is no way to obey that command apart from His supernatural love.

Some in obedience to His command were used to dramatically change the course of my life when I was saved at a Lay Witness Mission, sponsored by several churches on behalf of the youth in our small community, at the age of 14. I have served the Lord with the music He placed within me in the church and in ministry from the age of 11. In my late twenties, I began to sense the Lord drawing me to a wholehearted, 24/7 lifestyle of living for Him that only continues to increase in this NOW time.

We are living in times of Kingdom preparation. There is an urgency to train up this generation to live eternally NOW. How we invest this life matters for all eternity. This generation is called to possess a testimony of having always known and walked with the Lord. You see, when we comprehend at an early age that our identity is rooted and grounded in Christ alone, and that nothing and no one else can ever define us, we become empowered to live for the glory of His name alone and for the advancement of His Kingdom on the Earth.

What are we going to do to prepare our children and youth to live with a personal zeal for the Lord that consumes them? Churches have asked this question amidst the multitude of cultural distractions and diversions. A Willow Creek REVEAL Study by Russ Rainey, Ph.D.. states the following: “Before the research, Willow Creek had been assuming that “the more a person far from God participates in church activities, the more likely it is those activities will produce a person who loves God and loves others.” However, this assumption was found to be invalid by the research. To quote the study: “Does increased attendance in ministry programs automatically equate to spiritual growth? To be brutally honest: it does not.”1

Additionally, 2017 Barna Research states, “Millennials are the least likely generation to regularly go to church; less than three in ten (28%) attend weekly. Only 11% of today’s women see church or religious ‘activities’ as a top priority. However, the research also reveals that people who are disconnected from church – even those who self-identify as Christian – are less likely to engage in other faith activities that include Bible reading, prayer, volunteering, and charitable giving. ‘Whether we want to admit it or not, church attendance roots believers in regular faith rhythms and increases many other related faith practices.’” Barna states, “Millennials are seeking life-shaping relationships, vocational discipleship, are drawn to serve, and desire more of Jesus.”2

The world offers an infinite array of exciting fun, activities, distractions, and diversions. The church, in an attempt to attract attendees, oftentimes tries to offer a vast array of activity options. Realistically, church activities are not the answer. Jesus is the only answer the world is searching for. The church is supposed to be the place where the lost can go to connect with the love of Christ and to encounter more of His living Presence. In searching the Scriptures and the research, however, the bottom line is that activities are not creating disciples who love the Lord and others with their whole heart, soul, mind, and strength. It’s all about His love living in and flowing through His sons and daughters on behalf of those needing to encounter Him.

It’s time to raise up a generation who are all-in for a discipleship journey of being laborers of love, in the midst of a broken and lost harvest that is plentiful. Our Heavenly Father is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, but we do know there are different seasons in our lives and for the body of Christ (Ecclesiastes 3:1-14). In that way, as believers we can look ahead with the hope of Christ in us to navigate in a new way that looks much different than we have in the past (Isaiah 43:18-21 AMP, “Do not remember the former things, Or ponder the things of the past. “Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert. “The beasts of the field will honor Me, Jackals and ostriches, Because I have given waters in the wilderness And rivers in the desert, To give drink to My people, My chosen. “The people whom I formed for Myself Will make known My praise.”)

This generation needs to possess an intimate personal relationship with the living God, i.e. with the Word that is “living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]; sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12 AMP). This generation has been created and called to know intimately their identity in Christ, the Word, and how to recognize and fervently obey the leading of Holy Spirit. It is vitally important they learn how to press into worship and prayer, and how to BE vessels of His supernatural love to a hurting world. The few hours per week spent in church on Wednesdays or Sundays, if attendance is even regular, must be focused on awakening these truths. Equipping their spiritual lives – their spirits – is paramount in the times in which we live.

Jesus exhorted His disciples to “Leave the children alone, and do not forbid them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14 AMP). Jesus instructed the children in the exactly the same time, place, and manner as He instructed the adults. I am thankful and blessed someone responded to Jesus’ instruction, and took the time to lead me into an intimate relationship with my Heavenly Father, His Son, my Savior, Lord, and King, and with Holy Spirit, “the Spirit of Truth who guides us into all the truth [full and complete truth], and does not speak on His own initiative, but He speaks whatever He hears [from the Father—the message regarding the Son], and He discloses to us what is to come [in the future]” (John 16:13 AMP).

We are called to be in the world and not of it. Jesus is worthy of a multigenerational, multicultural Bride who has set herself apart solely as His and His purposes on the Earth as it is in Heaven…wholehearted, 24/7…all-in. It is through this lens I passionately seek to be His vessel of preparing this generation for such a time as this. This is the heartbeat and calling of my Heavenly Father on my life. All glory to Him as His Body co-labors as His hands and feet in the lovingkindness of Him who first loved us!!!

Make The Switch: A Language Change

If there is one thing I have learned from the journey our family has traversed, it’s that Believers must speak at all times through Heaven’s lens, releasing our Father’s eyes, ears, heart, mind, dreams, and will on the Earth, for such a time as this. By doing so, we become His vessels of releasing all that is good, loving, life giving, redeeming, and restoring! The atmosphere of Heaven contains no darkness, no evil, no negative reports, no anxiety, no fear, no lack, no bad thing…period. Rather, Heaven contains only the truest nature of our Father and King – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, holiness, abundance, and most importantly, the reverential fear/awe of the Lord, which is the beginning of the needed wisdom to navigate these times in which we have been chosen to live.

Neither cultural transformation nor preparing for Christ’s return will manifest through Believers releasing the negative frequencies of the kingdom of darkness, i.e., the lens and language of the culture. Life and death are released through the power of the tongue. New Agers comprehend this. How much more should maturing sons of the Kingdom make the switch from speaking the language of the seen, natural realm, to creating and releasing the abundant life that exists eternally within us through Christ in the unseen realm, i.e., the culture and language of His Kingdom, on the Earth as it is in Heaven, while fasting the speaking of anything less. This is precisely the revelation James addresses in Chapter 3, as well as that which Habakkuk prophesied in 2:14 (AMP), “But [the time is coming when] the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.”

We do not have to compromise the Word in order to BE light amidst the darkness…in order to BE His Truth amidst all of the deception – in order to BE all that encompasses the attributes of His grace, love, mercy, redemption, and restoration. This will not manifest by might nor by power, but by His Spirit. We must wholeheartedly align with the leading of Holy Spirit, yielding to His guidance into ALL Truth in the True nature of our King, which is ALWAYS creating and releasing Father’s love and life eternal – ALWAYS turning to good that which the kingdom of darkness intended for harm! Father is searching for those He can show Himself strong on behalf.

In this year where the fog of darkness ‘appears’ to have its ugliest grip amongst the nations, things are never as though they seem. Sons and daughters of the Most High Jehovah, let’s purpose to be Esthers, Daniels, Deborahs, Josephs, Davids, etc. and the vast company of Biblical heroes in our NOW time, i.e.,  those who lead and influence not as the world chooses to lead and influence, but rather in the opposite spirit – through the Words of Christ Himself in Matthew 5 – always grounded in His perfect love, always casting out fear, and always destroying the works of darkness by BEing His Light and Life in both WORDS and deeds.

Fruit That Remains

This morning while scrolling through my Facebook newsfeed I stumbled across a Lance Wallnau coaching video. On the video he urges listeners to think back over the times and things they were most passionate about in life. He also exhorted pondering any regrets if taken from Earth today.

In reflecting, the season I was most passionate about in life was the hours and years of intimate daily devotions, prayer, and worship with our six children during our homeschooling years. We also ministered as a family throughout those years in worship, children’s, and family ministries at churches, camps, and conferences. The fruit of choosing to wholeheartedly invest myself and my career/education into our six children is manifesting in our young adults in ways that are beyond abundantly blessing us as parents, and honestly, deeply humbling. I have shared a number of posts about both our sons, who are professional musicians, and the awesome doors the Lord continues to open for them as Kingdom leaders in the music industry. Our second son is currently preparing to step out with his music in ministry leadership as well. I have not shared as much on our girls, therefore, I would like to share the following videos and posts because they are worth your time, watch, and read. My only regret would be if I would stop at this juncture and not share what our Father put in me to invest in our own children with those needing to be set free to discover who they are in Christ, along with the gifts Father has placed within each one to be an expression of Heaven on Earth in this NOW time. There’s an entire generation needing what our own adult children have chosen to take hold of for their journeys. Our latter season will be even greater than our former, as we seek to enlarge our tent. At the same time, we get blessed over and over again watching Holy Spirit propel our own children into their destinies!

Joci (age 21)

Jenna (age 24)

Jadan (age 23)

I don’t have any current links to our son Jaran (age 26). He spends much of his time in the studio working on other people’s projects or on the road drumming. He is a master of sound, an amazing songwriter, and an incredible drummer – he was born to drum! He plays all instruments on studio recordings with the exception of lead guitar and vocals. I believe Holy Spirit with even surprise Jaran with where his journey is headed and it’s all good!

Our youngest son (age 19) traveled through kidney failure and transplant at age 15, is doing well, and is just beginning to figure out his next adventure.

Be as blessed as we are!!! We love each one beyond words and are so humbled & blessed to have been chosen to be their parents!

No Strings Attached

Many have been passing through a dark, narrow, oppressive, fearful place in this present hour. We must continue to stand on 1 Timothy 1:7, “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].” and 1 John 4:18, “There is no fear in love [dread does not exist]. But perfect (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love].”; on behalf of our families and on behalf of ALL those in need in this hour in which we find ourselves as individuals, families, and as nations.

If there is one thing Holy Spirit has taught me well over the past 16 year season, it’s that our Heavenly Father is always at work making ‘real boys with no strings attached’ – turning what the enemy meant for harm into good (Genesis 50:20). Let me explain. Most everyone is familiar with the children’s story, Pinocchio. Pinocchio learned valuable life lessons about love, truth, and about who he was created to be on the inside, through his journey and desire to be ‘a real boy,’ not content to remain as a wooden puppet confined to strings.

Maturing sons of the Most High have been through a rough season of trials, tribulations, testing, and refining (Revelation 3;18) for the hour in His Story we have been chosen to walk this Earth and find ourselves in on behalf of the lost, needy, and broken. Isaiah 60:2, “For in fact, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness will cover the peoples; But the Lord will rise upon you [*Jerusalem] And His glory and brilliance will be seen on you.” *Remember, we have been grafted into Israel until an appointed time, therefore, we have been called in this hour of immense darkness to shine with the glory and brilliance of the Kingdom of Light on the Earth. What does that even mean?

Back to Pinocchio’s life lessons. In order to comprehend the depth of our Heavenly Father’s love, and the love demonstrated by our Lord and Savior on behalf of ALL mankind through His journey and sacrifice, there is a similar journey awaiting each of us in learning how to see ourselves through our Father eye’s in the Perfected Son – in Love and in Truth. Christ modeled a transformation of who we are generationally, culturally, religiously, gifted, skilled, called, etc. by completely ‘letting go of’ – surrendering the reins of His life in faith to the Father’s goodness – trusting in His will and purpose on behalf of all. Elohim’s will and purpose as Yahweh, Adonai, Jehovah, and Father is always about the big picture – mankind being in intimate relationship with Heaven’s atmosphere and all of it’s lovingkindness on the Earth – not just in eternity. The transformation of becoming a ‘real boy’ involves walking out every facet of every detail of every day in every relationship and in every circumstance in one accord with the Father by being in one accord with the Son – His love and truth – with no strings attached!

This is literally impossible unless one pursues absolute yielding to and intimacy with both the Word and Holy Spirit (Zech. 4:6). Not an easy life lesson to learn, but with God nothing is impossible if we will simply keep looking to the Author and Finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), ‘pressing on toward the goal to win the [heavenly] prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus’ (Philippians 3:14). Isaiah 60 IS and will increasingly manifest through maturing sons (His Word does not return void (Isaiah 55:11)), and His glory WILL cover the Earth as the waters cover the seas (Habakkuk 2:14) as the Father’s sons, whom the whole Earth has been groaning for (Romans 8:19-22), ‘let go and let Christ’ live His life IN us in Love and Truth – no strings attached!

Our journey on the Earth was never about us, but rather Isaiah 61:1-4, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, Because the Lord has anointed and commissioned me To bring good news to the humble and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up [the wounds of] the brokenhearted, To proclaim release [from confinement and condemnation] to the [physical and spiritual] captives And freedom to prisoners, To proclaim [a]the favorable year of the Lord, [b]And the day of vengeance and retribution of our God, To comfort all who mourn, To grant to those who mourn in Zion the following: To give them a [c]turban instead of dust [on their heads, a sign of mourning], The oil of joy instead of mourning, The garment [expressive] of praise instead of a disheartened spirit. So they will be called the trees of righteousness [strong and magnificent, distinguished for integrity, justice, and right standing with God], The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins, They will raise up and restore the former desolations; And they will renew the ruined cities, The desolations (deserted settlements) of many generations.”

Esther 4:14, “For if you remain silent at this time, liberation and rescue will arise for the Jews from another place, and you and your father’s house will perish [since you did not help when you had the chance]. And who knows whether you have attained royalty for such a time as this [and for this very purpose]?”

Downpours, Obstacles, and Eternally Renewed

Recently two of our sons were blessed to go on tour as the drummer and guitarist for Bucky Covington (American Idol Season 5) to Japan for a country music festival, as well as playing for Tony Booth and Kristen Kelly. They then traveled on to Korea with Stars for Stripes as entertainment for American troops on each of the South Korean military bases. What an opportunity and experience of a life time! The details and memories of the trip are for our sons to share, but truly an honor to say the least. We are abundantly blessed and proud to call these two amazing young, godly men our sons.

Our middle son drove himself to Nashville at the onset of the trip in order to fly out with his brother and the other band members. I figured after embarking on a solo 14-1/2 hour road trip, two 15 hour overseas flights, in conjunction with several smaller flights, bus rides, and two weeks in a different time zone, that he would truly appreciate a second driver on his return trip to Minnesota. Therefore, I flew down to Nashville to see our oldest son and his wife for a day, and to be a road trip traveling companion.

My son and I were both looking forward to the return trip being completed, while anticipating many stories of the Asian tour facilitating the miles passing quickly. Unbeknownst to us, our traveling would include torrential rain for 14 of the 14-1/2 hours of the entire trip! From Nashville, TN, to Clear Lake, MN, an intense deluge did not remotely let up, with the exception of a short, 30 minute stretch midway. Through construction zone after construction zone, with multitudes of semi trucks in both lanes, spraying such heavy, misty gusts onto our windshield, that much of the day and evening we intensely endeavored through extremely poor visibility. Additionally, a conversation about Asian animals that included deer, preempted a near miss of a huge buck in the midst of the darkness and rain-drenched visibility, via a sudden swerving. To conclude the journey, with only ten miles of the trip remaining, a lengthy, slow moving train ‘happened’ across the path as we approached the crossing, stopping completely on the tracks right in front of us and forcing us to turn around, backtracking toward another road with additional miles and hope for a clear crossing on the final stretch home.

Needless to say, we were both exhausted as it neared midnight pulling into the driveway, yet extremely thankful for having arrived safely after our treacherous and lengthy trip. The intensity and details of our journey spoke significantly to me upon waking this morning. They closely resemble what we, as a family, and as many individuals, families, and nations, have been navigating. I was led by Holy Spirit to look up specifics in my A to Z Dream Symbology Dictionary by Dr. Barbie Breathitt.

Raining: refreshing, cleansing. God’s Word or Spirit being poured out to bring forth life and fruitfulness; the manifestation of the Holy Spirit; trial or disillusionment; it is ‘raining on your parade.’ To see and hear rain falling symbolizes the presence of God: “The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God.” Ps. 68:8. Abundant blessings, His Word, forgiveness and grace. God’s blessings being poured out; God’s Spirit and Word outpoured; revival, signs of refreshing; growth. Falling rain is a metaphor for crying tears, or sadness. Rain symbolizes a preparation for revival, judgement, fertility or fruitfulness and renewal. If you are rained on it indicates receiving spiritual teaching, cleansing from your troubles and the washing away of your problems. To hear: represents a spiritual downpour of ideas coming to fruition in your mind. To watch: means you will soon discover a new fortune in love and spiritual ideas because heavy insights are being brought to your knowledge.”

We literally drove through non-stop, downpouring rain (not mist, not drizzle, nor gentle rain, but a continuous downpour) from Tennessee to Minnesota, covering south to north and early a.m. to late p.m.. I believe Breathitt’s definitions have important applications in this hour and season we have crossed into. What my son and I encountered absolutely aligns with recent and numerous prophetic releases that encourage hope and perseverance on behalf of all who are seeking first His Kingdom and His righteousness. At this juncture in His Story, we are in need of cleansing, refreshing, and renewing from all we have navigated up to NOW – a washing away of the generational, religious, cultural, and demonic strongholds. We are additionally in need of a spiritual awakening of supernatural wisdom and discernment pertaining to our true identity and purpose as eternal sons, chosen and called to release the Kingdom of Heaven in this NOW season we have been given to walk the Earth.

Semi truck: being used or taken advantage of; pulling too much or bearing more than one’s own weight or responsibility; overloaded with fear; worry, or anxiety; the size indicates largeness, power, or great capacity of blessing, being overcome by increase or judgement; 18-wheeler; bringing a large, partial shipment of blessing or judgment.”

My son and I were forced to slow down over and over again throughout our trip, as semi after semi pulled over into the passing lane, dramatically decreasing both our speed and our visibility. Isn’t this a perfect picture of the offense, rejection, fears, worries, and anxieties we shoulder in life’s circumstances when we forget or choose not to cast them all on Him (1 Peter 5:7 (AMP), “Casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].”)? Trials and tribulations of all shapes and sizes literally and continually manifest to slow us down and block our ability to see clearly on the path ahead. However, when we choose to give it all to Holy Spirit, choosing to overcome that which is coming against us by the blood of the Lamb and the words of our testimony, we can trust our Heavenly Father to guide us safely into all Truth – safely to His destination for each of us – while manifesting His goodness and blessings all along the path.

Romans 8:28 (AMP), “And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.”

Philippians 1:6 (AMP), “I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].”

2 Cor. 5:7 (AMP), “for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]—“

Hebrew 11:1 (AMP), “Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].”

Construction: signifies a new surge of energy; development, aspiration and renewed assurance; a rebuilding of your own life and self-confidence; work on a new aspect of your mind, body or spirit.”

Wow! Doesn’t this analogy perfectly describe the season the sons of the King of kings and Lord of lords have been navigating? Construction zones come with all kinds of warnings, hazards, delays, and detours, yet the end result is generally new and improved travel on behalf of all. Holy Spirit has been at work awakening the construction of the nature of our Heavenly Father and the nature of the Son within us as His sons – body, mind, soul, and spirit; testing, refining, and purifying within the depths of our very being, our security, intimacy, and identity in Christ. These attributes are absolutely required for our Kingdom purpose of releasing His glory on behalf of others on the path being forged ahead in this new season.

1 Peter 1:7, “so that the genuineness of your faith, which is much more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested and purified by fire, may be found to result in [your] praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”

Buck: a full rack of antlers represents wisdom, skill, anointing, and ability to overcome; robust, high spirited man; resist obstinately;  taking responsibility and exercising authority; ‘buck up’ to be tough and resolute in a situation; lowest rank in the military.

I found this particular obstacle interesting, especially since Holy Spirit prepared us in advance to avoid hitting the buck by alerting us in conversation just prior to its appearance on the highway. I believe since He empowered us to be alerted to observe and avoid the buck, as opposed to hitting it (Note: there were numerous mangled deer and other critters all along the roadsides of our trip). Wisdom, skill, anointing, and ability to overcome was the precise revelation we were to glean from this encounter, as well as encouragement to take responsibility and exercise our authority as sons in Holy Spirit leading in the suddenlies on the course. I know our family is facing very specific circumstances where we are being led to be tough and resolute, completely yielded to His leading for the wisdom, skill, anointing, and ability to overcome.

Blocked railroad tracks: represent obstacles trying to resist your progress or you have lost track of your vision. Railroad track obstacles: goals will not be easily obtained, stay focused and persevere.”

This particular obstacle was the most aggravating piece of our journey, since much of the day had involved extremely intense driving, arriving at the final ten mile stretch of the trip, only to have the track lights/bar go down precisely as we approached, with a lengthy, extremely slow moving train coming to a complete stop in front of us. We were already tired, uncomfortable, and slightly edgy before being forced to turn around, back track, and travel another road, causing our lengthy trip to become even lengthier, all the while remaining hopeful that the next train intersection would not be closed. Fortunately, the train had remained stopped at the previous crossing when we arrived at the next intersection, and we were able to continue on for the final few miles of our trip.

I would venture to guess there have been an excessive number of obstacles ‘suddenly appearing’ to block the promises and forward leading of Holy Spirit in this hour for many. There certainly has been for our family. I do believe this specific occurrence has literal meaning on behalf of all Believers in this hour, in that we are not to lose our vision in the midst of the resistance, but rather to remain focused and persevering, irregardless of the obstacles along the way. Twice in the past week I have seen the words, “Don’t you dare give up!” In our fast-food, over-scheduled society, the semi trucks that slow us down and hinder our visibility, and the trains that obstruct our path, even though only temporary, are by far the most difficult aspects of our spiritual testing and training as sons, especially when we feel as though we have already endured far beyond what we ever thought we could, reminding our Father of His promises (1 Corinthians 10:13 (AMP), “No temptation [regardless of its source] has overtaken or enticed you that is not common to human experience [nor is any temptation unusual or beyond human resistance]; but God is faithful [to His word—He is compassionate and trustworthy], and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability [to resist], but along with the temptation He [has in the past and is now and] will [always] provide the way out as well, so that you will be able to endure it [without yielding, and will overcome temptation with joy].”).

Our Father, in His magnificent wisdom, does not operate in time, nor does He wrestle with visibility or obstacles. He sees it all perfected in His Son and is at work turning it all to blessings on our behalf. It’s our position – our joy – to trust Him alone in these times – trusting wholeheartedly in His love, His goodness, His faithfulness, and His plans and purposes. He is at work on our behalf and He will accomplish what He said He would do, if we only believe – not that He can do what we’re believing for, but that He WILL DO what He said via Holy Spirit and His Word that we are to believe Him to do. His ability or intent are never the issue, but rather, our belief and trust in who He is. Period.

“Railroad train: indicates training or the different journeys of people we are connect to in life.”

This piece is perhaps the most profound of all. The training of our past season has been purposefully about the individual people Holy Spirit will bring along our path in this life all along the road ahead. In a me, myself, and I centered society, this is far more difficult than the semis or the blocked railroad crossings. I recently read a quote on Facebook that I know is one of the most important revelations we must possess of the Kingdom as sons in this hour. It reads: “How we walk with the broken speaks louder than how we sit with the great.” Everything concerning our trip from Tennessee to Minnesota – our journey from the moment of our salvation – the pouring rain, the multitude of semis blocking the path, the lack of visibility from the spray on the windshield, the road construction, the buck, and the blocked railroad crossing/stopped train – has been about the needs of others; about us being transformed from orphans to sons, from broken to whole, and from doing to BEing, on behalf of every single individual ahead on our path encountering Holy Spirit through us for the exact same testimony.

Mark 2:19 (AMP), “Those who are healthy have no need of a physician, but [only] those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners [who recognize their sin and humbly seek forgiveness].”

Luke 4:18-19 (AMP), “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me (the Messiah), Because He has anointed Me to preach the good news to the poor. He has sent Me to announce release (pardon, forgiveness) to the captives, And recovery of sight to the blind, To set free those who are oppressed (downtrodden, bruised, crushed by tragedy), to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the favor of God abound greatly].”

Everything about Jesus’ journey on the Earth and for all eternity, and everything about our journey on this Earth and for all eternity is about encountering the love of our Father and being Good News on behalf of the poor, the captive, the sick, the lonely, the abused, the persecuted, the orphaned, the imprisoned, the helpless, and the oppressed. If we don’t intimately KNOW the love of our Heavenly Father through the love of His son for ourselves, we are unable to fulfill our only purpose for being on Earth for such a time as this: to know Him and His goodness so completely and tangibly that He will be known to others in and through us. The intensity of our training washes away everything that hinders that purpose, transforming us into His likeness within – body, mind, soul and spirit.

People don’t need religion. People need love…the kind of unconditional love that only comes from Jesus Christ living His life through His sons on the Earth as it is in Heaven. People need relationship…the kind of relationship that encourages, edifies, and comforts others…the kind of relationship that abounds in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. The former wineskin of much of the church has sorely missed these foundational truths. It’s time to put off the old wineskin and put on the new…the new that already WAS from the moment of our salvation, awaiting our awakening to it. The Church being advanced on the Earth – the one the gates of hell will not prevail against – will not shoot their own wounded by rejecting, offending, judging, and condemning, but rather BE as He has already made us to BE – one in our Father, one in the Son, our King and Lord, one with Holy Spirit, who guides us into all Truth, and one with one another, possessing a revelation of the Kingdom of love within (Daniel 7:22). The Kingdom of Heaven manifests love through choosing blessing over cursing, and through choosing life over death in thought, word, and deed. His Story is for all the world will see, hear, and know the Truth – the Good News – that alone sets all mankind absolutely free.

John 17:23 (AMP), “I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected and completed into one, so that the world may know [without any doubt] that You sent Me, and [that You] have loved them, just as You have loved Me.”

Matthew 9:17, “Nor is new wine put into old [a]wineskins [that have lost their elasticity]; otherwise the wineskins burst, and the [fermenting] wine spills and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine is put into fresh wineskins, so both are preserved.”

Isaiah 43:18-19, “Do not remember the former things, Or ponder the things of the past. Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.”

John 8:36 (AMP), “So if the Son makes you free, then you are unquestionably free.”

Philippians 2:10-11 (AMP), “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Thank You, Father, for bringing us safely through this juncture in His Story, as well as safety in every endeavor on every path ahead. Thank You, Father, for the new thing NOW set before us, and that all of the past has been thoroughly and completely washed away – left behind – refreshed, and renewed because of the sacrifice of Christ on behalf of all mankind. Thank You, Father, for Holy Spirit making us aware of the roads in the wilderness and the rivers in the desert in this NOW time. Thank You, Father, for ordering our steps, and for making the crooked paths straight. Thank You, Father, for Your glory as Your sons shining in us, on us, and through us. Thank You, Jesus, that as You purposefully and sacrificially demonstrated Your love on our behalf, that our journey as Your sons has also been on behalf of Your love for others through us – on behalf of the generations that have and are preparing the way for Your Kingdom rule and reign on Earth as it is in Heaven. It is for Your glory alone we travel this life!
