Core’ Cotton is a singer-songwriter and former lead singer of the Grammy winning group, Sounds of Blackness.
Core’ has recorded, performed, and traveled around the world as a featured vocalist.  She has shared venues with Patty LaBelle, Amy Grant, CeCe Wynans, and Aretha Franklin. Her voice can be heard on recordings with such greats as Quincy Jones, Janet Jackson, Sting, Barry White, and Phil Collins.  Her television credits include: The Tonight Show, The Today Show, Christmas at the White House, and Soul Train Awards. Core’ has appeared at a host of festivals including Live Celebration in Japan, Montreaux Jazz Festival, the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C., and a host of others.
She is the recipient of various musical honors including Grammy Awards, Essence Awards, and multiple Gold and Platinum records.
